One of the world's largest integrated manufacturers of building materials regarded the acquisition of a competitor as an opportunity to accelerate growth and open up significant potential for value creation.


Approach

The design & development of a reliable organizational platform for the systematic implementation of transformation programs were aligned and supported with the standardized GET Excellence software services.

Different transformation programs ranging from large transformation programs for the entire group to individually focused assignments in specifically defined business areas were implemented.

Result

Target run-rate synergies of over €500 million by 2018 were achieved. A routine status reporting from regional & central PMO to all levels of the organization was established.
